Four fans, designed to run quietly

Pulls heat away from the underside of your laptop during long work sessions. Single fixed speed, tuned to stay in the background of a café or coworking — present, but not the loudest thing in the room.

Folds flat, packs flat

Collapses into a slim profile that slides alongside your laptop in a sleeve or personal item. The frame is rigid when deployed, hinged when stowed — built to live in the bag you already carry.

Powered by your laptop, not the wall

One USB-C cable runs straight from your laptop to the stand. No wall outlet, no extra brick, no second adapter to forget on the kitchen counter of an Airbnb.

Multi-position adjustable

Notched legs let you set the screen angle to match your chair, your back, and the table you've been given today. Silicone grips on every contact point keep the stand from sliding on glossy café tables and the laptop from scratching against the frame.

RGB lighting

The fans light up if you want them to, or in case you´re in a party mood. Toggle it off and the stand disappears under your laptop. No judgment either way.

FAQ

Will it fit my laptop?
The 4-fan stand is sized for the full range of standard laptops and tablets, including larger and heavier machines. Two non-slip silicone baffles on the front edge hold your laptop in place at any angle. If you're working with something outside the usual range, send a message to info@nomanox.com with your model and we'll tell you straight whether it'll work.

Is it actually quiet?
The fans run at a single fixed speed, tuned to stay unobtrusive in a café or coworking. We won't pretend it's silent — you'll hear it the way you hear a small desk fan: present, but easy to forget about. If you need genuine silence for an early-morning call or a recording, unplug it for that block and plug it back in after.

Can I turn off the RGB lighting?
Yes. The lighting on the fans is independent of the cooling — toggle it off and the stand looks like a clean, matte cooling pad. Toggle it on if that's your thing.

Will it drain my laptop's battery?
It draws power from your laptop's USB-C port, so yes, there's a small but real impact if you're running on battery alone. The fans are low-draw, so the hit is measurable but not dramatic. Most people use it plugged in alongside their laptop charger — that way you get the cooling benefit without watching the battery indicator drop.

Aluminum or plastic — which should I pick?
The aluminum version is sturdier and dissipates heat through the frame itself, adding to the cooling effect. The PC plastic version is lighter on the build and more forgiving in a bag that gets thrown around. Both are the same 4-fan model and fold to the same profile. Aluminum is the pick for daily heavy use and warmer climates; plastic is the pick for the lightest possible carry.

What's covered if something goes wrong?
You have 30 days from the day it arrives to try it in your real setup — if it doesn't earn its place in your bag, send it back for a refund. Manufacturing defects are also covered under our 30-day warranty. Daily wear from real use isn't, but anything that fails out of the box or under normal conditions is on us.

For the long sessions on hot tables.

The first laptop stand most nomads need is in a place like Chiang Mai — a café where the AC doesn't quite reach the corner table, the laptop is warm to the touch by hour two, and the day's deep work hasn't even started yet. The second one is in a coworking in Lisbon, on a beautiful wooden desk in a building that runs four degrees warmer than the apartment. Different cities, same problem: a machine designed for an air-conditioned office, working through a day that wasn't.

Most cooling pads were built for home desks — too wide to pack, too cheap to last, too loud to live with. Most travel-friendly stands skip the cooling entirely and just lift the screen. The Nomanox Cooling Laptop Stand is the answer to both at once: a foldable frame that puts the screen at eye level with four fans built into the base, sized to slide alongside your laptop in the bag you already carry.

It earns its spot the same way a good knife earns its spot in a kitchen — by quietly handling the part of the day you don't want to think about.

The build, the specs, the small things.

Two material options. The aluminum alloy version has a brushed silver finish, conducts heat through the frame itself, and feels solid the way good travel gear feels solid. The PC plastic version is matte black, lighter on the build, and more forgiving in a bag that takes a beating. Both have silicone grips on every contact point — legs, front baffles, underside — so the stand doesn't slip on smooth café tables and doesn't scratch your laptop's lid.

The frame folds flat through a hinge mechanism with notched legs, so you can set the angle that matches your chair and your back. The four fans run at a single fixed speed, powered by a USB-C cable that plugs straight into your laptop — no wall outlet, no power brick, no third charger to track on the move. The RGB lighting on the fans is optional; off, and the stand stays visually quiet under your machine.

Compatible with most laptops and tablets, including larger and heavier machines. Wipe the frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth — no liquid into the fan housing.

Pack it once. Use it everywhere.
